EU – Templates for the information document and the numbering system for approval certificates.
The European Commission is working on a proposal for a New Commission Regulation amending Annexes I, II and IV to Implementing R(EU) 2020/683 as regards the templates for the information document and the numbering system for approval certificates. The templates for the information documents, contained in Annexes I and II to R(EU) 2020/683, should be modified to take into account the new requirements introduced by R(EU) 2019/2144 and the regulatory acts adopted pursuant to it.
To allow for a consistent approach with regard to the numbering of the approval certificates, it is further necessary to amend the numbering system set out in Annex IV to Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/683 to reflect the regulatory developments under Regulation (EU) 2019/2144. Annexes I, II and IV to Implementing Regulation (EU) 2020/683 should therefore be amended accordingly.
