 EU – Guidelines on the monitoring and reporting of CO2 emissions from light-duty vehicles

 

Has been published the document containing the guidelines on the monitoring and reporting of CO2 emissions from light-duty vehicles. This document provides technical guidance to the reporting countries for the preparation of the data covering calendar year 2021 to be delivered to the Commission by 28 February 2022, pursuant to the following legislation and documents:

  • Article 7 of Regulation (EU) 2019/631 setting CO2 emission performance standards for new passenger cars and new light commercial vehicles;
  • Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/392 on the monitoring and reporting of data relating to CO2 emissions from passenger cars and light commercial vehicles pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2019/631 of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Commission Implementing Regulations (EU) No 1014/2010, (EU) No 293/2012, (EU) 2017/1152 and (EU) 2017/1153;
  • Commission Notice "Guidance on the monitoring and reporting of data on the registration of new light duty vehicles" (2017/C 218/01).
