The European Commission is moving forward on the establishment of the new framework regulations on vehicle type-approval.
The Working Group on Motor Vehicles (MVWG) in its 140th meeting, ratifying the strong commitment of the EU aiming to improve the road safety, has share a new presentation with estimations and dates regarding the future relevant Regulation on administrative procedures and technical specifications and others Implementing and Delegated acts under Regulation (EU) 2019/2144.
Those implementing acts should be published at least 15 months before the applicable dates specified in Annex II of Regulation (EU) 2019/2144.
