The Working Group on Motor Vehicles (MVWG) has published during its 141st session held on 1 July 2020 the draft Commission Delegated Regulation supplementing and amending amending Regulation (EU) 2019/2144 of the European Parliament and of the Council by laying down detailed rules concerning the specific test procedures and technical requirements for the type-approval of motor vehicles with regard to intelligent speed assistance and for the type-approval of these systems as separate technical units. USA - California to ban all new gas-powered cars by 2035
California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed an executive order that calls for a ban on the sale of new gasoline-powered cars and other passenger vehicles in the state by 2035. The executive order will not prevent Californians from owning gasoline-powered cars or selling them on the used car market.
