Vehicles exported to Iraq must include the adoption of Gulf Standards GSO 42: 2015
The Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control (COSQC) of Iraq in the exercise of its authority of developing national standards and testing all goods imported besides issuing conformity certificates, on federal level on Republic of Iraq, had issued technical requirement TR (Eng. no. 167) concerning general safety requirements for vehicles depending on GSO 42:2015.
Therefore, requirements listed in GSO 42:2015 should be taken into consideration for vehicles sent to Iraq on the 2nd January 2021.
